Rent or Buy and Office Closing Days

Due to such a busy year our offices will not be attended on a full-time basis from the 20th of December until the 12th of January. So during this time if you require our service you will still be able to contact us by telephone for an appointment, and emails will be checked occasionally. However we're still quite busy with pre-Christmas enquiries, so even before those dates and to avoid delays, it would be better for you to call for a suitable appointment time.

What a year it has been for both buyers and sellers!!! - It’s all because our mortgage interest rates are so low, and are expected to remain that way for quite some time yet. Unfortunately whether you rent or buy, in most areas the amount being paid has been increasing and there are a few reasons for this. – It always comes back to ‘supply & demand’ and with many landlords selling rentals due to regulation changes, and many people buying homes, the rents and house prices generally have increases.

Call us today to see if you can pay for your own home rather than paying off the landlord’s one.

Fastest Rising Areas in New Zealand

New Zealand property values are on the rise, with record prices seen in some parts of the country and the national median value also in new territory. Strong demand is helping to drive up property prices, as the Auckland market lifts despite a decline in sales. While national inventory and sales volumes are both down, data points towards strong conditions and renewed optimism as we head into 2020.

Why Do We Gain Weight As We Age

Gaining weight as we age has become completely normalised in modern society. Men and women in their late 30s and beyond are almost expected to gain weight, even though we've never understood exactly why. While various genetic and lifestyle factors influence weight gain, there are age-related considerations that can't be accounted for by eating or exercise habits alone. As it turns out, how we store and process fat changes substantially as we get older.

Modern Work & the Adaptability Quotient

Modern workers are always looking for that little something extra to help them forge ahead in their careers. Whether you're a mechanic, a salesperson, or a surgeon, making moves in your chosen field was always thought to be a combination of smarts and hard work.
